What is EZImplant System? EZImplant System is a manually operated device capable of performing an engineless implant operation. There is no risk of stopping an operation due to failure of an engine. This system is operated at slow speed. So It causes less damage to tissues and provides a patient with a safe feeling. It allows surgeons to delicately adjust a position, a depth and a direction of fixture according to their desire.
2. Advantages of EZImplant Operation 1. The operation is manually performed and no need of saline irrigation. 2. It is easy to observe the operation field. 3. You can make a hole with an accurate direction and depth by using X-ray. 4. You can check the final position of the prothesis or the location of the abutment for all the time. 5. It is easy to correct a direction of a hole that has been once formed. 6. It is safe to operate near dangerous areas (such as sinus, inferior alveolar canal, etc.) because this operation is manually conducted. 7. It is very simple procedure. Any dental surgeon can easily perform the dental implant with the EZImplant system through one or two times of operational practices. 8. There is no need of educating assistants. They need to know some simple basic knowledges such as equipment arrangement or the types of fixtures. 9. The patients feel comfort during operation using this system. There is no saline irrigation and suction. There is no motor noise. In the case of flapless surgery they may gurgle with a screw in their bone or may rest for minutes. 10. Postoperative pain or edema is much less than those of drilling method. 11. You can easily create more accurate hole compared with the drilling method. (in case of Handpiece, the hole will be more widen by shaking of an axis due to decrepitude) 12. You can easily collecte bones in this operation (Bones collected on the device may be used as autogenous bone graft material).
4. Constituent Parts of EZImplant System ① This driver has large handle that is easily grasped and has a long shaft. ② The shaft portion does not rotate along with the driver handle to prevent the patient's lips from damaging. ③ The main driver can be separated with an L-wrench provided in the Kit. You can clean the tools after the operation. ① This driver is conventional driver shaped with a small handle. ② It is integrally formed so it is very sturdy. ③ The sub driver may be used as an emergency driver in a simple operation that needs less physical strength. The main driver can be separated for cleaning process with an L-wrench provided in the kit. The main driver has a hexagonal inner end. Any tip or adapter having a hexagonal shape at an assembly unit may be usable. The sub driver has a hexagonal inner end, Any tip or adapter having a hexagonal shape at an assembly unit may be usable.
1-3. Ratchet Wrench ① The hand wrench is used by being inserted with a wrench device. ② The hand wrench provides less strength but may be used as a substitute for a Ratchet Wrench in the maxilla. ③ The hand wrench has a sill at one side for a possible use at a different height along an assembly direction according to the circumstances.
1-4. Hand Wrench ① This tool may be used at an area such as mandibular molar where it is difficult to find a correct path. ② It is used with a wrench adapter to control the position of the wrench in adjusting the path or planting a fixture. ③ The path change tool is used for changing a direction of a hole that has been already formed.
1-5. Path Change Tool ① This tool may be used at an area such as mandibular molar where it is difficult to find a correct path. ② It is used with a wrench adapter to control the position of the wrench in adjusting the path or planting a fixture. ③ The path change tool is used for changing a direction of a hole that has been already formed.
- Tips - ① Lance tip can be connected to a EZ driver for use in breaking a cortical bone. ② This tip is supposed to penetrate into the bone by approximately 3 to 4 mm. ③ You can push it into the bone or use a mallet according to the density of bone.
2-1. Straight Lance Tip ① This tip may be employed in a case where it is difficult to find a path with the straight lance tip. 2-2. Curved Lance Tip 2.0 ① The checkup tip is comprised of 5 (five) pieces of Φ 2mm. ② You have to insert slowly at a marked area along the long axis of an adjacent tooth after being assembled with EZ driver. ③ The direction and depth of implant is to be determined by X-ray with Checkup Tip insertion. ④ Graduated scale positions : 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 14 - 16 - 17
2-3. Checkup Tip
① The screw tip is comprised of a total of 10 (ten) pieces of Ø2.5mm, Ø3.0mm, Ø3.5mm, Ø3.75mm, Ø4.0mm, Ø4.25mm, Ø4.5mm, Ø4.75mm, Ø5.0mm and Ø5.5mm. ② The screw thread and blade are used to cut bone and enlarge hole . ③ Some screws may be omitted according to bone density in the operation. ④ Graduated scale positions : 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 14 - 16 - 17
