Ex-Probe is an excellent combination instrument for dental diagnostics. It has an explorer tip on one end and a probe tip on the other.
Ball-End Probes (XP23-11.5B and EXP23-12B) increases tactile sensitivity and gives a more accurate picture of gingival pocket depth. Also, it does not damage the tissue. The black coding mark is not painted, but it is absorbed into the metal. Thus the mark is permanent and lasts during the sterilization method.
