Autoclavable
You can significantily increase the life of your
instruments (especially hemostats) when autoclaving or
using any sterilization technique which involves
moisture.
First, make sure the hemostats are open
slightly during sterilization.
After the sterilization cycle is complete,
IMMEDIATELY remove the sterilized hemostat and dry
them with a soft, adsorbent cloth. Leave the hemostats open while drying.
