INTRAORAL MIRROR

Perhaps the most unique feature of these intra-oral mirrors is their lightweight, easy to use design. The contours on the side of the dental mirror insure your patient's full comfort as well as making the photo nearly effortless to capture, often times without the need for cheek retractors. The stainless steel base with double chrome plating provides a clear image while preventing scratching and discoloration during sterilization thus making the dental mirror more durable that its rhodium counterparts. USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
To prevent fogging during use, we recommend running the mirror under hot water for a few seconds, prior to inserting into the patient's mouth, to raise the overall temperature of the mirror (prevents condensation). A soft paper towel or a smail gauze pad can be used to remove excess water droplets.
 
Cleaning Instructions for the Intra oral Dental Mirror
Care should be taken to ensure both proper cleaning and longevity. The recommended method for decontamination is thorough cleaning followed by steam sterilization using the following procedures.

Prior to Sterilizing:
Prior to autoclaving, we recommend rinsing the mirror with water to remove any surface contaminants. After rinsing, dry and place the mirror in a sterilization bag. If you chose to use an UltraSonic cleaner to remove contaminants, please avoid placing the mirror in with other sharp metal instruments to prevent any scratching of the mirrored surface.

Sterilizing:
Steam Autoclave:
Time - 15-20 minutes
Temperature - 250-270 degrees F
Pressure - 15 PSI
